Tour Overview

Hit the slopes of the South Island's dominating Southern Alps, home to New Zealand's premier ski areas. And while each ski area has its own unique character, they’re all framed against NZ's stunning scenic backdrops - lakes, rivers, lush green, golden plains, dense forest, and blue ocean. The air is crisp and clean, the scenery amazing and the snow wonderful - let’s go!

Highlights

  • Queenstown: This high alpine pass connects Queenstown and Wanaka and offers show-stopping views of the valley looking over the Wakatipu Basin.

  • Cardrona: Stargazing, gondola riding, snow-tubbing, champagne-sipping, and of course, skiing! There’s so much you can do at one of the most iconic skiing locations in New Zealand.

  • Queenstown: This 'remarkable' spot in New Zealand is popular for its sun-filled bowls, world-renowned chutes and unique resorts.

  • Queenstown: A NZ ski-trip is incomplete without visiting the world-famous Coronet Peak AKA the original ski resort in the area.

  • Bungy jump off the third highest platform in the world or skydive with NZone Skydiving in Queenstown.

  • Explore the thriving city of Queenstown, hike up the Tiki trail, try a famed fergburger, or take a day trip to the Milford Sound.

  • Wine and dine atop the highest restaurant in Queenstown, Skyline, with a gondola ride.

Tonight, we'll start off by getting cosy over a team dinner and sharing our enthusiasm for the week of adventures ahead. Later on, it's our first chance to hit up the Queenstown nightlife - shall we start as we mean to go on?PLEASE NOTE: Ski Essentials and Equipment will be available to hire from a local store.

Rise and shine! Today is dedicated to snow, snow and more snow. Though your body may be feeling the pinch, the mountains won't shred themselves! Collapsing into bed tonight, we'll sleep soundly before our well-earned free day tomorrow.

Sherif was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about every single small detail at each site that we visited. In addition to his great service, he has a glowing spirit that made me feel like I had family with me the entire trip. Anything that I was concerned about, he always had an answer and was there to help. I truly enjoyed my experience and will purchase a tour with him in the future
